HOW TO PLAY

Defend the gate with one manually aimed cannon. Hold a direction to turn the barrel, then hold A to fire. Watch the heat meter: stop shooting briefly before it locks out. Enemies that reach the gate damage the town. Between waves, pick one temporary blessing. Clear waves without breaches to build Dawn Streak, but Gate Mine is safer and cuts the streak in half. Survive 12 waves.

CONTROLS

Z: Fire; release to cool the heat meter.
DPAD: Aim the Beacon Cannon in eight directions.
A/START: Confirm upgrade, begin game, or return from game over.
LEFT/RIGHT: Choose an upgrade between waves.

Gamepads work too. Click the screen first so the browser lets the sound play.
