HOW TO PLAY

Keep the wagon clear until the gate. Ghosts glow and pull back before they lunge: cut them early with A, or face them and hold B to shield the lunge. If one attaches to the cart, rush in and cut it off. Defeat ghosts at maximum sword reach to earn Soul Lanterns, then press X to purge possession in an emergency. Reach the gate with the lowest possible possession for the highest rank.

CONTROLS

Z: Sword cut. Press while near a latched ghost to cut it off the cart.
X: Hold shield guard. Repels a ghost's telegraphed lunge; movement is slower while guarding.
C: Spend one Soul Lantern charge to purge a segment of cart possession.
ENTER: Begin from title screen or return after game over.
LEFT/RIGHT: Move the knight beside, ahead of, or behind the cart; face the movement direction.
